After much soul searching and deliberation I have finally settled on a Camel Camper Trailer as my home away from home. I was looking for something that was easy to tow, easy to put up and pull down by one person and provided a few simple luxuries. The model I purchased is the on-road Nomad with an upgraded suspension to make it a light off-road camper. Why Camel you may ask? Quality and value for money is what I was after and that is what I have received. The following options were added to the basic Nomad:
Further additions:
The 2.7 litre V6 motor in the Suzuki tows it with ease
Passenger side
Drivers side
The covers come off
Up goes the tent
The tent section fully erected
The awning zips on
The awning completely fitted
The kitchen wall and tailgate skirt attached
Out comes the kitchen complete with duel fuel stove and lamp
Kitchen drawers are spacious and slowly filling up. Love that cutlery drawer
The gazebo screens zip on in seconds
From the inside looking out through the screens
Annexe walls also zip on in seconds
Inside showing the queens size bed and aluminium clip on ladder.
Yes the sleeping bag is gone and has been replaced by a doona and sheets
The tent is spacious and the windows are huge
When it's all done and dusted there is nothing like a good cup of tea
Inside of the trailer has been lined with carpet to protect camping gear
Another view of the lining in the trailer. It is kept in place by strips of velcro for easy removal
