The following photos show a modified Bedourie Camp Oven and camp oven lifters.  The owner was concerned that his Bedourie was going to tip over and shower him or his family with hot coals.  The photos are pretty self explanatory however the last one showing a house brick on the side of the oven say it all.  You need to remove and replace the original wire clips and make a couple of lifters. You will not have to remove the riveted bracket. Simply slide the current wire out.
